かわ音 / Kawa-oto

Kawa-oto is a monthly DJ event where people dress up in their own idea of "kawaii," immerse themselves in cute sounds, and gather in a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. Its predecessor, "Shiroi Ouchi de Kawaii DJ" (Cute DJs in the White House), launched on October 16, 2022, and the tradition of inviting a special guest each edition quickly took root. On August 22, 2023, the series was relaunched as "Kawa-oto." For the anniversary edition in October, international guests joined the full roster of regulars for a one-of-a-kind experience. The event continues to evolve in small but meaningful ways — back-to-back sets by resident DJs, quarterly editions in specially built worlds, and dance-focused nights — with each staff member pouring their heart into making every edition enjoyable for longtime fans and first-timers alike.
