9I first explored the VR world on Cluster in June 2022, and since then, I've been creating VR worlds and hosting music events there regularly. My favorite music genres are Drum'n'Bass and Psychedelic Trance. I love mixing tracks with quick transitions and mashups.
Where do you live?
I live in Tokyo. My time zone is JST.
What do you do for a living?
I work in accounting, and until recently I was also working as a secretary — I've just moved into a sales role. I'm not a full-time digital creator.
What do you like to do besides making music and creating worlds?
I love cooking! I'm good at making Japanese and Italian dishes, especially pasta — tomato-based ones are my favorite.
I'd like to perform at one of your events.
Thank you! Please DM me on X to get started.
Which name is correct, kohada or kohadachan?
My name is kohada, and "chan" is a Japanese term of endearment. You can call me either. By the way, my VRChat ID is kohadachan.
Which communities are you a part of?
I'm part of Built on LOVE (the Kaleidosky crew) and Sanctum, and I'm a resident DJ of Order of the Broken Beats. If you'd like to catch me in person, PSY-APPLE every Monday at 22:00 JST is probably the easiest place to find me.
What gear do you use for DJing?
I play on a DDJ-1000SRT with Serato DJ Pro, using all four decks. My style is built around quick transitions and long mashups — layering tracks into something that feels different from the originals.
Where can I watch you stream?
Every Monday 19:00–20:00 JST on Twitch. The show is called Monday Bass Sessions — you can find it at twitch.tv/kohadachaan.
Can I use your VR worlds for my own event?
Yes, in principle you're welcome to. Some of the staff gimmicks require a passcode, though, so please reach out on X — a retweet or a comment on one of my posts works — and I'll send you what you need.
Do you take commissions for world-building or VJing?
Not as a general rule, but I'm open to the conversation — feel free to reach out. I'm especially keen to collaborate with public-sector or civic projects on a voluntary basis.
